Women�s NGOs conduct hearings on the problem of domestic violence
Baku / 16.05.17 / Turan: The conference dedicated to the issues of combating domestic violence was held on May 16 in the International Press Center, organized by the Society for the Protection of Women's Rights named after Dilyara Aliyeva and the NGO Clean World. The meeting was held under the slogan "End of violence against women". Participants of the conference paid special attention to the problems of killing women and bringing them to suicides.
It was noted the need to consolidate the efforts of the civil sector in helping to solve the problems of eliminating violence against women, establishing a dialogue in this direction with government agencies to jointly combat this phenomenon.
The expert Gubad Ibadoglu noted the direct link between violence against women and the economic situation in the country. -06D--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
