Workers of State Agencies under President Have Their Salaries Increased
Baku / 05.03.18 / Turan: By the order of the President of Azerbaijan dated March 3, the salary of employees of a number of budgetary organizations has been raised by an average of 10% since March 1. The list includes the Presidium and Staff of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the Staff of the Gence Department of ANAS, the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Center for Strategic Studies under the President, the National Encyclopedia, the Ataturk Center, the State Archives and its branches, the State Commission for the Affairs of Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Citizens, the State Commission on Drug Abuse; the State Movie Foundation of the Ministry of Culture, the Foundation for the Development of Science, the State Support Fund for Media Development, the Secretariat of the Council of State Support for NGOs, the Youth Foundation under the President, the Knowledge Center under the President, and the Center for Multiculturalism.
Another order of the head of state on March 3 raised the salaries of employees of cultural, youth and sports institutions also by 10% since March 1. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
