Worsening Situation along Front Line
On February 7 in different parts of the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces, firing with mortars and large-caliber gun mounts was observed, said the Defense Ministry press service of Azerbaijan.
During the response, fire points and engineering structures of the enemy were destroyed.
According to the Azerbaijani side, the purpose of this activity was to divert attention from a sabotage attack on one of the sectors of the front.
As a result of the measures taken, the enemy's plan was foiled, said the Defense Ministry's press service.
The Armenian side confirms the deterioration of the situation along the front line and the use of mortars and artillery, placing the responsibility on the Azerbaijani side. -02D-
