Baku / 09/23/19 / Turan: On September 23, pressure on the correspondent of the Voice of America radio and the Turan news agency Taptyg Guliyev was commanded by the Lieutenant Colonel of the Transport Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs before the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office.
This officer ordered to detain the journalist in the line of duty and personally tore the microphone from his hands. Then he ordered: "Take him! I tell you as a man, I say get out! Take him away! "
It was after this that several police officers seized the journalist, pulled out his camera and dragged him into the office.
After 30 minutes, he was released with the words: "We are letting you go, but dare not work anymore against statehood!"
At the request of the journalist to introduce himself the Lieutenant Colonel did not answer.
Note that the journalist fulfilled his professional duty by covering the protest rally of a group of parents of persons convicted in the Terter case.
