Protest Rally of Parents of Persons involved in "Terter Case"
Baku / 09/23/19 / Turan: On September 23, a group of parents of persons involved in the "Terter case" held a protest rally in front of the Serious Crimes Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office.
They raised portraits of their sons and demanded a fair review of their cases, including the acquittal of those killed during the investigation.
"My 15-year-old son was killed. Now they want to hush up the case. I held a protest in front of the presidential administration. But the doors were not opened to us. I am waiting for help from Mehriban Aliyeva and Ilham Aliyev. If my complaint is not resolved, I will march to Terter. I demand my rights," one of the protesters said.
At that moment, police dispersed the women and rudely detained the reporter for the Voice of America and Turan Agency Tapdyg Guliyev (Farhadoglu). Participants in the rally unsuccessfully tried to prevent pressure on the journalist. -16C-
