Mehman Aliyev appealed to Rovnag Abdullayev
Dear Mr. Abdullayev,
According to Article 50 of the Constitution and the Law on Freedom of Information of the Azerbaijan Republic, I ask you to provide information on the following issues: On May 7, 2018, I sent you a letter describing the situation with providing gas to the population of the Buzovna settlement. In the letter I noted the massive violation of consumer rights, which are protected by the laws on gas supply, consumer protection and the "Rules for the use of gas" of the Cabinet of Ministers.
I also noted that regular calls with complaints to the number "185" on Azerigaz do not work. That is, until today the normal supply of gas within 15-20 ml / bar has not been restored.
In addition, on May 7, from 9 am to 6 pm, gas was disconnected in the village of Buzovna. This situation was noted last week. In the past, such cases were of a regular nature, as I informed you more than once. I have received official assurances that the situation would be improved.
In connection with the current situation, I ask you to answer the questions:
1. Why does not SOCAR comply with the legislation and regulations on gas supply to consumers (this is a question of the pressure that is not in accordance with the standards and violation of the law on uninterrupted provision)?
2. Which of the officials gave instructions to reduce the gas pressure below the established standard and shutting off gas at certain times and days of the week?
3. Are you informed about the pressure decrease in the gas distribution network and the systematic disconnection of gas on certain days at certain time?
4.How should officials react to the appeals of consumers to service 185?
5.What measures are taken against responsible persons for ignoring or not resolving the issues raised by them in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Gas Supply?
6.What measures are you going to take, and at what time to restore the gas supply in the village of Buzovna in accordance with the requirements of legislation and regulations.
7. What should be the gas pressure in the consumer's network, and with what frequency should the gas be supplied (permanently, at certain times or in some other way)?
Sincerely, Mehman Aliyev, Director of Turan News Agency

In Ukraine, a brutal, bloody war caused by Russian aggression continues, claiming lives, destroying homes, demolishing infrastructure, and inflicting incalculable harm on the environment and surrounding natural ecosystems. Ukraine, more than anyone else in this world, strives for peace, as we bear the daily brutality of this Russian-Ukrainian war. We are at the forefront of the struggle for the right to life, freedom, and justice. Ukraine seeks a just peace that will lay a solid foundation for a stable future for Europe and the World, and the only way of achieving this is to implement President Volodymyr Zelensky's Peace Formula (the Ukrainian Peace Formula).

On the eve of a large-scale flood approaching Baku, a disturbing incident occurred in the village of Buzovna, where a Lada Priora car fell into the ground, literally collapsing the road beneath it. The driver miraculously remained unharmed but vowed to seek justice, promising to file an official complaint with the prosecutor’s office against Azersu OJSC, the state-owned water supply and sewerage company, often associated with deeply rooted corruption.

In a bit of historic irony, powerful oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili has managed to inspire rare unity across Georgia’s cacophonous political scene twice in his life. His money and influence forged the broad-based consolidation of opposition forces that brought him to power in 2012, and now, 12 years and three electoral cycles later, a similar pattern of opposition convergence could send him packing.

Russian authorities and pro-Kremlin influencers have been spreading false information about alleged Reporters Without Borders (RSF) research into Nazi tendencies within the Ukrainian military, which was featured in a viral video falsely attributed to the BBC. RSF exposes the inner workings of a disinformation campaign designed to justify President Vladimir Putin's war narrative.
