I have no doubt that for each of the nine such confessions, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued an angry statement and calmed down. Who can promise that one day Donald Trump will not tweet, in his characteristic manner, a state statement about the NKR's recognition of the All-American state as a free state? He will look at the list of nine states proposed by the assistant and decide that this fact is sufficient for the unilateral declaration of "Artsakh statehood." Could someone have predicted Trump's famous statements about the capital of Israel (2017) and the Golan Heights (2019)? The official position of the United States is almost a worldwide solution; and not any force can make America abandon its position.

PASHINYAN SPOILED EVERYTHING

Azerbaijan is intensely silent. It seems that the realization of the catastrophe in our leadership is taking place, and it is expressed in a certain weakening of the domestic policy towards the democratic Azerbaijani opposition. Even being "relaxed", this policy remains shockingly repressive in the eyes of the civilized world. In Azerbaijan, the people cannot express their position by holding a rally or even a picket in front of the building that houses the addressee of the people's message. A rally in the village of Novkhany, where there is not a single building of national importance (next to which mass events are prohibited in Azerbaijan) led to the detention of four protesters. The expected amnesty of about 50 political prisoners, hoping for speedy release on the Novruz holiday in March 2019 did not take place. They said that by releasing the remaining 87 political prisoners in May, Azerbaijan would put an end to the shameful image, and the words of the Chief Editor of Yeni Musavat newspaper Arif Raufoglu about the Azerbaijani "revolution from above," which apparently should have been our response to the Armenian revolution, will come true. However, in May, the amnesty did not happen.

We came to the inevitable Pashinyan. Before the appearance of this man on the political scene, it was easy to Azerbaijan: with Georgia, it was clear that it had moved forward to European democracy, having lost two of her provinces (Abkhazia and South Ossetia). Azerbaijan told that that Armenia "will not leave" because it will lose Karabakh, and added, "Putin will not allow Armenians ..."

However, Putin allowed- Nikol Pashinyan was able to turn the bloodless democratic revolution, not allowing President Serzh Sargsyan to be reformatted into the Prime Minister to be stuck in power. Sargsyan also gave power to Pashinyan without blood. The lands of Nagorny Karabakh and of flat Karabakh remained under the actual control of the Armenian army. Azerbaijan has become the only state in the South Caucasus, in which it is possible to continuously and infinitely hold the highest power in the hands, and appoint a member of his family to the second state post. This is nowhere else among the member countries of the Council of Europe.

When our numerous delegations of different levels are outraged, being in Europe and America, with double standards in relation to Azerbaijan, they are not going to answer their question: "What is the reason for this?" In the pro-government newspapers, they descend to a primitive explanation in the logic of religious Christian solidarity, which, however, is not visible, for example, when discussing the deep hostility between Christian Russia and Europe together with all of North America. The West applies "double standard" to small Azerbaijan, which can hardly be found on maps; and "since Azerbaijan provides Europe with oil", we have tolerance and multiculturalism.

Ambassadors of Western countries tell the president and the press about the shortcomings in freedom of speech and human rights in our country, that is, we do not need to look for the reason for our failure, we are clearly prompted! Nevertheless, we openly admit to ourselves that our leaders do not want to be the cause of "double standards" in national ignorance. It is easier to remind again and again of the millions of refugees and the Khojaly genocide, which have nothing to do with these shortcomings.

WE DIDN'T BECOME A CAUCASIAN SWITZERLAND

Azerbaijan is not attractive for the West, where values ​​are not marble borders, but the right of a person to wear a jersey with the name of any football player, except for other, of course, well-known values. When politicians and tourists are just going to visit Azerbaijan, they look at the pictures of our capital on the Internet and read articles on their websites, most of which say what is listed in the previous paragraphs. They learn about the anti-Azerbaijani resolutions in the Council of Europe, about the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights with regard to Azerbaijan, about the landromat. This is how the opinion about the country is formed. We are known not by the number of international competitions held in the country, but by the world ratings of press freedom and speech. Then they look at the data on the average salary and pension in the country in dollars, and they see that these figures are worse than in Armenia and Georgia. Then, foreigners remember that Azerbaijan is an oil country, "supplying Europe", and they realize that corruption eats up oil money. Looking at anti-corruption ratings, they are confirmed in this.

Azerbaijan lags behind its closest neighbors in the Caucasus. Starting with a lag in a democracy, we naturally pulled the state"s economy and social obligations behind it. They do not like retarded people, especially if poverty is caused not by objective circumstances, but by theft. The backward people do not trust the rights of national minorities, because it is natural: if Azerbaijan has political prisoners from the titular nation, how can Baku guarantee the protection of the rights of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh? Armenia actively and skillfully fed this idea - there is an example of Mkhitaryan bacchanalia. We must fight what is happening, eradicating our sores, and not blaming the pozners for loving Armenians. They love only those who they want.

Azerbaijan has bothered the world with complaints about the Armenians who captured Karabakh, while simultaneously demonstrating to the world the strongest army in the South Caucasus. Nobody likes the weak! "Until our government shows courage, determination and will power in the Karabakh issue, public opinion in Azerbaijan will be formed by drunken, provocative statements of all sorts, Solovyovs, Poznerovs, Zatulinovs and other Moscow scourges, and this is primarily dangerous for the authorities themselves, since an information sabotage carefully developed by professionals can lead to tragic consequences and shake the situation. Make your head work, dear sirs, before it is too late. Not any loud, magnificent events of international importance, even omnipotent football can deduce politics from the agenda of social networks and the media. The discontent just rolls over ...," writes the journalist Kavkaz Omarov on a social network.

This is true also about everything that some people call democracy. Until real parliamentary and presidential elections, with mandatory and equal participation of candidates are held in Azerbaijan, with open disputes as Poroshenko and Zelensky were held at the Kiev stadium, without using an administrative resource like in Georgia, with the president"s voluntary refusal to put forward his candidacy for the 3rd, the 4th, and the 5th time, as in Kazakhstan, our candidacy - no one will love and respect us. One day, maybe even very soon, Donald Trump will get tired of smiling at Azerbaijan and he will take his ink pen to put a giant signature on the document and show it screen? What then shall we do?
