Erdogan: It is time to end the Armenian occupation
Baku/28.09.20/Turan: The time has come to end the crisis in the region, which began with the Armenian occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and the adjacent regions of Azerbaijan, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Monday, commenting on the hostilities in the zone of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
According to the Turkish leader, the immediate liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani lands by Armenia will open the way for peace and stability in the region.
"The patience of Azerbaijan has come to an end and Baku is putting an end to the Armenian occupation on its own," the Anadollu agency quotes Erdogan.
The President noted that Turkey would continue to support friendly and fraternal Azerbaijan with all determination.
The recent processes in the South Caucasus are a good opportunity for countries with influence in the region to support a fair settlement of the conflict, the Turkish leader added. -02D-
