The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus visited the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Nakhchivan region
Baku/15.09.21/Turan: The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, who is in Armenia, visited the border village of Yeraskh located on the border with Nakhchivan.
"The visit to Yeraskh sheds light on how close the military positions of Armenia and Azerbaijan are. It is important to reduce tensions on the border to thus improve the climate for negotiations. The EU is ready to support this," Klaar wrote on his Twitter account.
It ought to be noted that today Klaar arrives in Baku to hold talks with the Azerbaijani leadership. -02B-
