ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe
ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe is pleased to inform that from 10 to 13th November the jury session took place in Kiev Ukraine.
In total, almost 100 hundred films TV and online contributions (video and web pages) promoting peaceful coexistence of people of different national, ethnic, religious or cultural backgrounds from six Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) have been submitted and reviewed by international jury members. Two sets of the jury members were composed namely of media representatives linked professionally to the topic of cultural diversity and coming both from European and Eastern Partnership countries including Georgian Public Broadcaster, Rustavi2, Internews from Ukraine, NTU, Channel 5, Moldavian TV, Kultura Plus from Azerbaijan, EBU and Deutsche Welle.
This year, according to the jury decision, The ADAMI Media Prize 2015 will be awarded only in four categories. The announcement of the nominees of ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe 2015 was publicly delivered on 16th Nov. at 23.00 on the Channel 1 of Georgian Public TV by Adami Programme Director Mr. Stefan Tolz.

The ADAMI Media Prize 2015 will be awarded at a festive Gala evening in Tbilisi on 10th December 2015 at 18.00 in the National Library under the auspices of the President of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili and broadcast live by Georgian Public Broadcaster.
Please be also informed that on 10th Dec. from 14.00 – to 16.00 within the ADAMI TALKS the discussion panel on “Challenges of the cultural diversity in media today” at Tbilisi State University will be held. The topic will be discussed by invited European media experts including Mr. Frans Jennekens (Head of Diversity Department of Dutch NTR Broadcaster) and Mr. Kurt Schaad of Zurich based Internet TV JOIZ. This event is a unique opportunity for students, media and diversity professionals from Georgia to network and get an insight view into European media understanding. -02D-

The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Azerbaijan, in partnership with the Embassies of the EU Member States will hold the second “Taste of Europe” Culinary Festival at the Aquatic Palace, the European Games Park on 6 October 2024. On September 30, U.S. Ambassador Mark Libby opened his residence to an event titled “Art in Embassies,” welcoming Azerbaijani and international guests to explore the artistic ties between the two countries.

Swiss singer Sophie de Kua will give concerts in Baku as part of her "Cultural Bridges Tour." The first concert is scheduled for September 18 at 7:00 PM at the Rashid Behbudov Theatre, initiated by the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan.
