Another book by the scholar studying Armenia published in Turkey
Baku/30.03.19/Turan:The "Sedit" Publishing House in Ankara published a book by a well-known expert in Armenian issues, Professor Gafar Chahmakli (Mehdiyev) of the Ergiyes University in Kayseri, entitled "Memoirs of a Bolshevik Armenian.
" The book reflects the important revelations from the memories of Anastas Mikoyan, one of the leaders of the Stalin-Khrushchev period. Professor Kemal Cicek, a famous Turkish historian and researcher at the Center for New Thought in Ankara, wrote an introduction to the book.
In connection with the release of the next book from the "Armenian Question" series, Professor Gafar Chahmakli, commented on the publication of his book to the Turan agency: "During the preparation of the list of persons subject to repression in 1937, Anastas Mikoyan demanded to punish 1,500 people. Armenians will never forget this. Armenians did not like Mikoyan, who wanted Karabakh to be part of Azerbaijan. The book describes in detail his confrontation with the Armenian nationalists and dashnaks. Historical documents are used that reveal the essence of the "Armenian Question" and represent a better understanding of the problem on the part of society.
Since 2011, Gafar Chahmakli has created a 272-page methodological guide for learning the Armenian language. The Senate of the University of Ergiyes in Kayseri called Chahmakli one of his respected specialists.
