Azerbaijani Orthodox mark Christmas
On the night of January 7, Orthodox Christians of Azerbaijan celebrated Christmas. On this occasion, the head of the Orthodox Christians of Azerbaijan Father Alexander held in the main Orthodox church - Cathedral of the Holy Myrrh-Bearers was a special service in Baku.
Similar events were also held in other Orthodox churches in the country. Earlier President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Orthodox Christians on their holiday and wished peace and prosperity. -02D-
