Deputy bailiffs condemned the violence against girls and women
Bailiffs in Guba used force against 10-year-old Nuray Bayramzade and her aunt. The incident is related to the execution of a judicial decision on the transfer of the girl to father who emerged many years later. In this case, the girl wanted to stay with her aunt, who brought her up a few years after the death of her mother, Turan was told by the MP from Guba region Vahid Ahmedov.
According to the parliamentarian, he spoke on the issue with the Chairman of the Guba District Court. He wanted to reconcile the parties, but when this did not work, was forced to apply the law according to which, the child should be referred to the father.
The girl’s aunt filed appeals, but higher courts upheld the first instance decision. The MP Ahmadov considers unacceptable the use of force against the girl and her aunt. The MP said that he will investigate the issue and will appeal to the relevant structures.
"It is unacceptable. Everything has its limit. I do not dispute the court's decision. However, the use of force by bailiffs, especially against girls and women is incompatible with the national mentality, with no human ethics. I talked about this with Deputy Minister of Justice. I was told that they are aware of it and will take the necessary measures," concluded Ahmedov. Videos with the use of force by the bailiffs have been distributed on the Internet. -05C—
