As a result of heavy rains some districts of Lankaran city, as well as Girdeni, Kosalar and Shilevar villages have been flooded, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan reports.
Forces of the Emergency Situations Ministry's southern regional centre are taking measures to evacuate citizens from the flooded areas. They are also taking steps to divert water and other necessary security measures.
At the moment 22 people, including 6 children, have been evacuated
