Festival of French Music Held in Baku
Baku / 03.07.17 / Turan: The French Embassy organized an evening of French music on Saturday. The first counselor of the embassy Mrs. Fabien Drew-Lozinski and the representative of the Bureau of Propaganda of the National Tourism told the audience in Icheri Shahar (ancient fortress of Baku) about the significance of the event.
The concert that took place in the café Paris Bistro was attended by the vocalist Vafa Gadirova, the guitarist Taleh Gahramanov, the pianist Aidan Yusupzadeh, the vocalists Ali Ibrahimzadeh and Albina Ahmedovsky and others.
The concert was also held at the YARAT Contemporary Art Center and the Art Gallery. -0-

On February 11, the Ritual Theatre and Creative Laboratory in Baku hosted a powerful documentary theatre performance, “The Melting Snow Stories of Baku,” marking the conclusion of a workshop dedicated to site-specific theatre. This workshop brought together 15 artists from various age groups, all exploring the transformative power of storytelling to address climate change. The event was directed by British theatre director Sebastian Harcombe of SECRET/HEART Theatre Company and Aynur Zərrintac of Ritual Theatre. It was supported by the British Council.
