This Flea Market showcased the diversity of Baku’s social enterprises, with booths featuring second-hand items, eco-friendly products, handicrafts, and handmade clothing. Among the standout participants were two social businesses founded by Salaam Cinema team members: Edem Baku and Yamamaa. The Flea Market also featured the output of Salaam Cinema’s Writing Laboratory. Two newly published books, created by local authors through the Lab’s initiatives, were on sale, with all proceeds directed toward future publications by emerging writers. Alongside these new releases, tables displayed a variety of pre-loved books, available on a pay-what-you-can or free basis, reinforcing the event’s mission of inclusivity and accessibility.
