Montserrat Caballe Travels to Karabakh without Baku Permission
The famous Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballe, arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh. She was received by the separatists leader, Bako Sahakyan.
According to the Armenian media, the singer explained her interest in Karabakh by the abundance of Christian monuments.
According to the same sources, Caballe’s concert in Karabakh is not scheduled. Her solo concert in Yerevan is scheduled for June 9. Therefore, it is difficult to understand the purpose of such a long journey by the singer, who is elderly.
A few years ago Caballe performed in Baku, but now such a concert is unlikely to occur. Official Baku does not issue visas to persons who visit the occupied territories without permission of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has not commented on the visit to of Caballe to Karabakh. -02D-

The pursuit of understanding Azerbaijan’s history is an ongoing journey, increasingly woven into modern literature, culture, and national pride. A recent contribution to this endeavor is Yusif Aghayev’s new book, “The Art of War in the 11th-13th Centuries in the Works of Great Azerbaijani Poet Nizami Ganjavi,” presented at the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan. This event marked a dual triumph in Azerbaijan’s cultural and academic circles, linking medieval military history with the famous works of Nizami Ganjavi, a poet whose legacy has long enriched the nation’s identity.
