Opening another Baku Jazz Festival
Next International Jazz Festival will be held in Baku on 21-27 October, organized by the Ministry of Culture country. According to the Radio "Azadlig", musicians such as Richard Bona and Branford Marsalis have been invited in Baku. Richard Bona, a musician from Cameroon, bass player, composer, singer and arranger, who is considered one of the most original and promising contemporary improvisers; Branford Marsalis, renowned tenor and soprano saxophonist. The Israeli group «Hard Jazz Knights» will present their project at the festival Jazzing the Beatles. Azerbaijani musicians will be: Salman Gambarov with the singer from India Vasumathi Badrinathan and an Iraqi Amir Elsaffarom. Pianist Emil Afrasiyab will perform at the opening ceremony, together with the State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli. Also will perform Jamil Amirov and the winner of the jazz festival in Montreux - Isfar Sarabski. -02D-
