A representative office in Azerbaijan Polymedia
Baku opened a representative of the Russian system integrator Polymedia.
As previously reported by Turan, a company called Polymedia Azerbaijan, and its first major step will be an agreement on a joint project with the Ministry of Finance of the country. According to the head of the new IT structure Rufat Mammadov , the presentation was attended by representatives of government agencies , businesses and leading representatives of the education sector , the company is also in talks with the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan on the implementation of their decisions for the upcoming I European games to be held in Baku in 2015. As said at the presentation of the head of Polymedia Elena Novikova, the tasks assigned to the Azerbaijani office are linked to the constant development. Implementation of these projects is provided in the next two to three years.

We are preparing for the implementation of projects in the telecommunications industry in the current year, and in the education sector - a project for the recently created in Azerbaijan IT- University, a branch of Moscow State University in Baku. Also planned is a project with the Ministry of Transport, which provides solutions for the addition of intellectual transport management system," said Novikova.
Speaking at the presentation of the company's solutions Polymedia Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said that the opening of representative offices will contribute to the development of bilateral relations. "Today Russia is Azerbaijan's leading trade partner, and most importantly - in the non-oil sector. I am very pleased that the companies have come in the high tech sector. It is a sector to which Azerbaijan puts a lot of interest," he said.
