"Yeni Musavat" suspends release
On November 9, one of the most published papers of Azerbaijan, "Yeni Musavat", will suspend its release. This decision was taken by the newspaper's management on Friday in protest against the ban on its sale in the Baku Metro.
"Steps taken lately are aimed at economic undermining of the newspaper," said the editor of the newspaper, Rauf Arifoglu. He did not say when the production of the printed version will resume, he said.
On October 17, Baku metro banned the sale of newspapers "Azadlig", "Yeni Musavat", and “Gundem Heber.” -16D-
