Agroleasing JSC Leaders Punished
At the June 4 meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture on the organization of the collection of grain in Azerbaijan the Chairman of the Board of JSC Agroleasing Elshan Mammadov was reprimanded.
As the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture said, Deputy Chairman of the Board and two chiefs of departments of Agroleasing received a reprimand in connection with the low level of readiness for harvest. Likewise punished were the leaders of several agricultural service enterprises of the JSC. A decision was made on the implementation of structural changes in JSC Agroleasing.
This year's grain harvest attracted around 2,400 combine harvesters, owned and leased by farmers and 500 harvesters operated by the regional agricultural services of JSC Agroleasing.
In 2016, the area under wheat increased by 42 thousand hectares and accounted for 583 thousand hectares. Total grain harvest is carried out on 927,400 ha. -----08D
