The local mobile operator and provider of Internet services AzercellTelecom received n Social Bakers Engage Award from the renowned research agency Socialbakers conducting monitoring social media worldwide.
According to the statement, the award was presented during the conference Engage Prague in 2015, held May 20-22 in Prague. The Conference brings together a wide range of world-class international experts in the field of marketing: the top marketers, corporate executives, marketing directors, as well as leading experts in the field of social / marketing innovations. More than 1,000 participants and thousands of online visitors join the conference to listen to the most prestigious speakers. The conference becomes the most popular topic on Twitter every year.
Azercell is the first mobile operator which has been awarded this prestigious award. In the second quarter of 2014, for the first time in Azerbaijan, Azercell reached a record - 100% mark for online-service to customers via Facebook. In 2012 Azercell became the first mobile operator in the country awarded the certificate Socially Devoted for maximum responsiveness and answers to customer inquiries. To obtain a certificate, the index of response to user's requests growing from year to year is measured. In addition to the high rate of users, Azercell more than once took the first place in terms of involvement and activity of users on the page.
The result of the study Socialbakers conducting monitoring of social networks has shown that on the number of fans the official Facebook page of Azercell is one of the leading in the country and among the first mobile operators in Azerbaijan. To date, the number of fans on the Facebook page of Azercell has exceeded 370 thousand and it continues to grow every day.
Furthermore, Azercell is the first local mobile operator that created its official pages and customer service in real time on social networks. This, in turn, was intended to ensure closer contact with subscribers and to inform them about the various innovations of the company. It is thanks to this approach that Azercell subscribers have the opportunity to receive high-quality service 24/7, using the resources of six different social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Disput.Az, Google+, YouTube and Instagram. Questions of subscribers are specified via any of these networks and their responses are often a matter of seconds.
