AtaSigorta to Raise Authorized Capital to 10 Million Manat
The insurance company AtaSigorta plans to increase its authorized share capital from 7.6 million to 10 million manat (+ 2.4 million, or 31.6%).
According to the State Securities Committee (SSC), on July 31, the issue prospectus was registered and shareholders decided to release 96,000 new shares in addition to the existing ones. The nominal value of a share is 25 manats.
The company AtaSigorta, which is a member and is one of the founders of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance, has been operating in the insurance market since 2004 and offers 22 types of voluntary and four types of compulsory insurance.
The paid-up share capital of the company reached 7.6 million manat this February.

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
