Autumn Exhibition Season Will Be "Fruitful" for Azerbaijan"s ICT
The most productive is the current season of exhibitions for companies specializing in information and communication technologies, the company Iteca Caspian said in the announcement of the opening of the season.
So on December 2-5 the 19th Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Telecommunications and Information Technology" BakuTel 2013 will take place. It will be the main event in the implementation of the initiatives of the head of state, who declared this the "Year of information and communication technologies." So BakuTel 2013 is a kind of demonstration of the country's achievements in the field of ICT in recent years.
The exhibition will affect the theme of creation of an IT park in Azerbaijan. The leading local ICT companies, mobile operators, carriers and ISPs will be represented. Among the guests will be companies from Belarus, China, Malaysia, Russia, Slovenia, the USA, Ukraine, Japan and other countries. This year's show promises to include a large number of national stands.
According to the business program of the exhibition several conferences will be held. Among the most important ones are the conference on cyber security , I Virtual Conference of World Azerbaijanis, International scientific-practical conference "Internet in Azerbaijan : Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA ) and the Institute of Information Technology under it.
In addition, a major annual forum for telecom operators consortium TASIM, I Azerbaijani national forum on management on the theme " Internet as an engine for regional development and promotion ", as well as activities related to the establishment of the Centre for Professional partnership of public and private sectors of ICT in Azerbaijan.
There will also be meeting "SPECA Project Working Group on the development of an economy based on knowledge" of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. The bilateral ICT Forums "Azerbaijan - Argentina" and "Azerbaijan - United States" will be also carried out. - 17D-
