AXA MBASK was the best insurer of the Caspian- Black Sea-Baltic region
BAKU/13.03.14/Turan : Insurance Company AXA MBASK received from CIBC (Caspian Integration Business Club), unites the business community for more than 30 countries , the international award - Caspian Energy Integration Award- 2014 .
As stated in the press release, the financial structure is the outcome of a survey conducted by CIBC in 32 countries among top managers and middle managers from 1,500 companies (7,500 respondents ) operating in the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions ( members of the Caspian integration Business Club and readers of publications of international publishing house Caspian Energy), AXA MBASK Insurance was awarded the " Company of the Year for high quality services."
Receiving the award at the ceremony , First Deputy Chairman of the Board of IC AXA MBASK, Selcuk Adygyuzel expressed gratitude for the confidence .
In his speech he spoke about the achievements of the company in recent years , highlighting the company's activities aimed at the development of the local insurance market and the provision of high-quality insurance services to the population , meeting the requirements of the time. And also the fact that the constantly improving business experience , management practices , structure and level of services and fully fulfill its insurance obligations , AXA MBASK demonstrates its financial stability and competitive advantage .
This is the sixth award the company since entering the market. So besides Caspian Energy Integration Award- 2014 , AXA MBASK International prize awarded Caspian Energy Integration Award ( 2013 and 2011 ) in the category " Insurance Company of the Year ." Companies also awarded national prize Azeri Business Award- 2013 in the category "Insurance Company of the Year ." In addition to these awards AXA MBASK was awarded the National Award nominations UGUR "Contribution to the application of international insurance experience in the market of Azerbaijan" (2010) and "Insurance Company of the Year" ( 2012).

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
