AzAL freezes flights to Beijing
The CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AzAL) has suspended flights Baku-Beijing- Baku. According to the website of the company (http://www.azal.az/ru/news-view/83), the opening of direct flight Baku-Beijing was scheduled for today, May 10, 2013.
"Due to the additional new requirements to all airlines, beginning flights to Beijing, the flight by AzAl Baku-Beijing-Baku was suspended. Until the last moment we were trying to settle the matter with the relevant structures of the PRC, but the demands and a very short time, made the flight impossible," reads the information.
The company intends to open the specified flight shortly after the settlement of formal procedures. Passengers who have purchased tickets to Beijing from AzAl, will be given the opportunity to make a full refund of the ticket without deduction of any penalties or replace air ticket to Beijing and back again without additional charges. - 17D-
