The contract for the manufacture of equipment will be signed after consideration of all technical issues, and the production will begin later this year. The local factory is charged with maintenance, as it has service centers in all economic regions of the country.
From the Azerbaijani side the document was signed by the Director General of the production association Gyanja Automobile Plant Kamran Nazarov, and from the Belarusian side – by the director of the factory Dormash Nikolai Kostenev.
The Azerbaijani and Belarusian cooperation of motorists started in late November 2006, when Belarus signed a contract on the construction and sale in Azerbaijan of trucks and tractors of the Minsk automobile and tractor plants.
