Azerbaijan Implements Amendments to Food Safety Law to Regulate Alcoholic Beverage Production

In Azerbaijan, there has been an observed increase in the price of flour. In May, a 50-kilogram sack of flour cost 25-26 manats, but now it has risen to 29 manats. This increase in the price of flour is also reflected in the data from the State Statistics Committee (SSC).

Azerbaijan and Israel have engaged in discussions to advance cooperation in the field of green energy, Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov announced on the social network "X." The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the list of specialized medical institutions authorized to perform donor organ transplants. The changes, guided by the eighth paragraph of Article 119 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan, were announced in resolutions No. 337 and No. 338, signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

Taxpayers are unable to complete their quarterly online tax returns in the simplified profit tax format for individuals because the new version of the e-taxes.gov.az portal is not fully functional. Individuals classified as small entrepreneurs by the tax service are required to fill out and submit an online income declaration to the Ministry of Economy's Tax Service portal within twenty days after the end of each quarter. However, the page https://new.e-taxes.gov.az/eportal/az/declarations does not support the simplified profit report for the second quarter of 2024 for this category of citizens. From July 1 to 16, the new beta version of this page has not been working, and the previous version is closed for use.
