Azerbaijan-Latvian business forum held in Baku
Today Baku hosted the Azerbaijan-Latvian business forum with the participation of more than 200 entrepreneurs. Business meeting of the two countries is dedicated to the visit of the Prime Minister of Latvia Valdis Dombrovskis to Azerbaijan.
For bilateral meetings in Baku, there are over 90 participants from 72 companies that operate in the fields of finance, construction, food processing, metallurgy, tourism, pharmaceuticals, etc., Turan was told by the press service of Ministry of Economic Development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev said that their contribution to the expansion of trade and economic ties make intergovernmental relations. To date, the parties have held four meetings of the intergovernmental commission. According to the minister, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Latvia in 2011 increased 2.5-fold. Using the investment climate in Azerbaijan opened 17 companies with the Latvian capital, Serah working in banking and insurance, industry, trade and services.
The Latvian prime minister said his country attaches great importance to relations with Azerbaijan and urged business people of the two countries closer cooperation.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
