Azerbaijan launched a new service called " Mobile payment " for MasterCard cardholders
AzeriCard processing center in conjunction with MasterCard International, the International Bank of Azerbaijan and World Telecom is a new service " Mobile payment " for cardholders MasterCard.
As stated in the IBA , with the help of this service, cardholders will be able to perform fast and secure payments with additional settings in MobilBank in their mobile phones without using a POS terminal.
The technology of mobile remote payment is being launched in many European markets , and is now finally available in Azerbaijan. Mobile payments join a credit or debit card with every major smartphone platform (Android, iPhone, Blackberry, etc.), turning it into the virtual payment or purchase. The advantages of this solution will provide convenient and safe payment from a mobile device, avoiding the cash payment, the expectations when entering the PIN- code or a possible error. -15D -
