Azerbaijan stopped petrol export: local petrol consumption grows
State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has released the statistics of oil products export, according to which in February 2015 it decreased by 44.6% against January 2015.
SOCAR press office reported that in February 2015 total oil products export reached 70,548 tons against 127,326 tons in January 2015.
54,070 tons of diesel fuel and 16,478 tons of jet fuel were exported in February. There was no export of petrol, vacuum gasoil and black oil in February 2015.
Fuel export stops only when the demand grows at the local market.
In 2015 oil products export totaled 197,875 tons, including 165,227 tons of diesel fuel, 32,470 tons of jet fuel and 178,000 tons of black oil.
In 2014 oil products export totaled 1,558,315 tons, including 9,432 tons of petrol, 992,725 tons of diesel fuel, 196,729 tons of jet fuel, 358772 tons of vacuum gasoil and 657 tons of black oil.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
