President Ilham Aliyev arrived on an official visit to Sofia yesterday. The program of the visit includes meetings with the leaders of Bulgaria, which are expected to discuss issues of trade and economic relations.
In addition, the focus will also be energy cooperation. Bulgaria is a potential buyer of Azerbaijani gas.
It is assumed that the gas to Bulgaria will come through the TAP by the branch connecting the gas pipeline systems of Greece and Bulgaria. -06D-
