From January to October 2015 Azerbaijan thermal power station generated 6.2 billion KWt power, reported Azerenerji open-type joint stock company (JSC).
In October 2015 the station generated 579.6 million KWt power.
In 2014 Azerbaijan thermal power station generated 7,683,600,000 Kwt power.
Azerbaijan thermal power station has eight blocs with 300 MWt power each. The thermal power station generates majority of power in Azerbaijan. The station uses natural gas and black oil as fuel.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
