Azerbaijani energy operator still did not pay salary to its employees for August

Azerbaijani energy operator Azerenerji, the state monopoly for generation and distribution of power, has serious financial problems.
The tax agencies have suddenly asked the company to pay for the third quarter to the state budget without any delays. For this reason the company had to use the entire profit to pay its taxes to the budget.
However, Azerenerji has faced another big problem – it also cannot pay salary to its employees for August. “We have been simply told to wait a little bit,” employee of Azerenerji’s thermal power station told Turan’s correspondent. The other divisions of the company have not paid the salaries as well.—0—
