Azerbaijanis Open More Than 500 Companies in Turkey in Three Years
In the first 11 months of 2015, the citizens and companies of Azerbaijan took part in the opening of 158 companies in Turkey, the Association of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey said.
The number of companies with Azerbaijani capital in this country is growing at a steady pace. In January-November 2014 in Turkey there were established 153 companies with Azerbaijani capital.
The capital of the newly established companies was invested 56.8 million TL, of which 50.7 million TL accounts for our compatriots. The volume of investments in the Azerbaijani capital created over 11 months in 2015 increased by 30.3%.
According to statistics, the number of established joint-stock companies in Turkey in the past year, Azerbaijan (46 companies) was only behind Germany (84). In the number of companies with limited liability, Azerbaijan (112) was ahead of Russia (95) and finished seventh.
According to official data, in 2013-2015 the number of companies established with the participation of the Azerbaijani capital was 507. For the formation of their capital currency to the equivalent of 143 million TL was taken out of the country.
By the end of 2012, 1,190 companies with Azerbaijani capital operated in Turkey, the Ministry of Economy of this country reported. Over the past 3 years their number has grown by about 40%.
The Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development reported in March 2015 on the functioning of more than 1,500 companies with Azerbaijani capital in Turkey. In view of SOCAR, their investments in the Turkish economy were estimated at over $ 5 billion.
Many experts point out that due to the negative processes in the economy and more, some wealthy people withdraw capital from Azerbaijan. This process is fueled by the ongoing devaluation of the manat. ----08B

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
