Azerkosmos equipped with new equipment
Limited Liability Maybo will supply parts for the Head Centre of Ground Satellite Control at JSC Azerkosmos. As noted in the information on the website of the State Agency on Procurement, the contract will cost the space agency in Azerbaijan 49 395.6 manat.
Another "space" agreement has been made with the company Bestcomp Group for the purchase of computers and computer equipment. The sum is 48 882.68 manat.
JSC Azerkosmos with registered capital of 40 million manat was established in 2010, to launch a telecommunications satellite, management and implementation of maintenance activities. All of the company's shares are owned by the state.
The JSC launches into orbit satellites, provides telecommunication services, selects insurers for services, establishes cooperation with space (satellite) operators, as well as conducts various studies in this direction. --17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
