Azerspace-one outsourced to specialists of Azerbaijan
The first national telecommunications satellite of Azerbaijan Azerspace-1 after the successful completion of all test processes from April 2, passed by U.S. company Orbital Sciences (manufacturer of the device) in full control of Azerkosmos.
According to the parent company (Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), the operation of the satellite transmission of Azerbaijani specialists has been conducted from March 15.
Satellite, according to experts, is ready for commercial exploitation. Now experts Azerkosmos control apparatus with the basic ground control center. The satellite can be seen also from the backup ground control center, located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
