Bakcell Interested in Attracting Highly Qualified Staff
The local mobile operator, Bakcell is interested in attracting highly qualified staff. This purpose was represented by a regular meeting of its representatives with university students.
According to the press release, the event organized at the Azerbaijan State Economic University was attended by students from different universities, receiving education in groups SABAH. They were provided with detailed information about the student's internship program Smart Start, as well as given useful tips on resume writing and preparing for a job interview.
The Internship Program Smart Start designed for students and graduates who wish to pursue a career, and face difficulties in finding employment due to lack of necessary work experience gives young people the opportunity to get acquainted with the working conditions, to gain valuable practical experience and develop the necessary qualities. The program lasts for 2 months (5 full working days per week). Bakcell provides trainees with appropriate scholarship for daily transportation expenses and meals. At the end of the internship program, all the participants are evaluated and receive a document certifying their participation in the project. In addition, the students were provided with detailed information on the program Applab aimed at supporting the creation of mobile applications in the Azerbaijani language, and other projects providing ample opportunities for young people. The students also had the opportunity to ask questions.
The main objective of the project Applab is to provide entrepreneurs and developers with effective tools that can accelerate the implementation of their ideas and help them create innovative and fully operational mobile applications for local and international markets.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
