Baku to Host XII Bond Congress of CIS and Baltic
Baku will take about 200 participants of the XII Bonds Congress of CIS and Baltic countries. The leading event for the development of domestic bond markets will be held on May 21-22,
As stated in the official invitation (http://www.cbonds-congress.com/events/263/agenda), recognized experts and key market players will discuss the state and prospects of the financial markets (macroeconomic situation, the risks of regions, new perspectives), new trends in the Eurobond market of the CIS countries and emerging markets, as well as the situation on the local bond markets.
Particular attention will be paid to this year's local capital markets and the trend of development for the Caucasus region and in many countries of the CIS.

Rice imports to Azerbaijan have soared to unprecedented levels during the January-November 2024 period, reflecting both rising domestic demand and increasing global food prices. Over this period, the country imported 60,400 tons of rice, marking an 18.6% increase in volume and a 35.3% rise in value compared to the same period in 2023.
