Bank of Azerbaijan Launches "Adama Qalan Gezmekdir" Campaign
Commercial Bank OJSC Bank of Azerbaijan has launched a campaign "Adama Qalan Gezmekdir" - People Should Travel.
In releasing details of the campaign, the bank stated that credit card customers who made overseas purchases of at least $100 would be able to repay the debt without interest in equal installments over three months. The campaign will run until September 30, 2013. It is open to customers who hold credit cards from the Bank of Azerbaijan. Customers can receive a line of credit worth up to three times their annual salary.
As reported in the bank, as part of a new campaign credit card holders of the bank made the overseas purchase through POS terminals for each transaction in the amount of at least 100 $, AZN and euros, will be able to return the spent amount without interest in equal installments over 3 months.
The campaign will run until September 30 of this year. It is open to only the holders of credit cards from Bank of Azerbaijan. The campaign customers can get a line of credit in the amount of three times the salary. For the purchase of overseas through POS terminals for each transaction valued at less than 100 $, AZN or euro will be used by regular benefit (up to the 10th of the following month). Anywhere in the world customers, who have spent through POS terminals for each transaction in the amount of 100 or above U.S. $ AZN or euros, will be able to return the spent amount without interest in equal installments over 3 months.
It should be noted that, taken from ATMs in Azerbaijan and abroad, funds are not covered by this company.

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
