British Airways to open Baku-London flight in winter
British Airways (BA) company has presented a new schedule of flights from October 28, 2018 for the former BMI flights to Amman, Almaty, Beirut and Freetown cities. From October 13, British Airways will have a direct flight to Tbilisi.
The company reported that Baku-London flight will be among the winter 2012-2013 flights. It will fly to Baku 7 times a week on A321 airbus. The BA crew will service the flights.
The company also announced 7 new flights from Heathrow airport to Soul, Aliquant, Leeds Bradford, Rotterdam and Zagreb and from Gatwick airport to Lag Vegas and Barcelona.
Paolo de Renzis, BW Director for Middle East, said that passengers from Azerbaijan could check in a free luggage up to 23 kilo and choose their seats within 24 hours since departure.
The transition from internal and external design of BMI planes to BA style will last till early 2013. Airbus A321 will have World Traveler salon with modern audio and video technique.
