BSE Restricts Accepting Applications for Margin Trading
On December 18, BSE limited the acceptance of applications in the trading system of the Exchange for the purchase of the Russian ruble. BSE explained this step with the low level of liquidity of the USD-RUR currency pair in the international market.
The stock exchange noted that clients that submitted earlier applications for purchase may continue operation of the currency pair.
Note that the current exchange rate of the US dollar against the Russian ruble on margin trading in BSE is 60.0359 (as of 11:52:17 on December 18).
BSE this year organized margin trading with derivative currency instruments and has been actively trading Forex on over 50 currency pairs. In October there were concluded 4,909 transactions totaling 697.2 million manat. Forex services are provided by the broker company Standard Capital, Uni Bank, and Demir Bank. 08B
