Bulla Deniz burns down, says the head of SOCAR
The operation to extinguish the fire on the burning wells in the field Bulla Deniz has entered its final phase, reporters were told by the President of the state oil company SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.
There is a special installation of cranes, which will be attached to the well, he said. The operation to extinguish the well is carried out by American professionals.
The fire occurred on Aug. 17 on the well drilled at a depth of nearly 6,000 meters due to an excessively powerful output of gas.
Bulla Deniz is located 80 km south of Baku in the Caspian Sea. -03B-
