Conference "Cooperation for Global Cybersecurity: Problems and Prospects" started in Baku
Today in Baku within the framework of the 19th Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference "Telecommunications and Information Technologies" - BakuTel- 2013 began a conference on "Cooperation for Global Cybersecurity : Problems and Prospects " (Global Cyber ??Security Cooperation : Challenges and Visions).
According to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the event is organized by the Azerbaijani government with the support of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - the UN specialized agency in the field of information and communication technologies , the World Bank (WB), the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Interpol , and is sponsored by HP .
The conference will discuss all aspects of cybersecurity. It aims to protect sensitive information in the Internet space , assists and promotes the exchange of best practices in this area. The Conference will also bring together high-level representatives and experts from government, business , NGOs to explore the prospects for future cooperation.
The event was opened by the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov , moreover, are expected to address the Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Hamadoun Toure , a member of the European Parliament Kristiina Ojuland and other dignitaries. - 17D-
