During 6 months Canub thermal power station generated over 1.1 billion KWH of power
In 2013 Canub thermal power station of Azerenerji company (state monopolist of power generation) generated 1,167,000,000 kwh of power.
Azerenerji press office reported that in December 2013 thermal power station generated 345.2 million kwh of power.
Canub power station with the capacity of 780 MWt was put into operation in early July 2012 in Shirvan city.
Azerenerji spent over five years and hundreds of million of AZN from the state budget for reconstruction of the thermal power station. However, till now it did not release information about how much conditional fuel is used to generate 1 KWT of power at the power station.—0
