During six months shipment of Azerbaijani oil dropped by more than 10%
During six months 2016 SOCAR exported 10,247,879 tons of crude oil from the terminals in Black and Mediterranean Seas, reads SOCAR’s web site.
From January to June 2015 SOCAR exported 11,406,893 tons of oil. Thus, during 6 months, 2016 oil shipment dropped by 10.16%.
The highest pace of decline was on the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline – 29.4%. Export through the Georgian terminal Supsa constituted 20.2%. Azerbaijani oil deliveries through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline dropped by 7.3%.

Reduction of Azerbaijani oil shipment through various terminals is caused by reduction of extraction on the offshore fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli.
The volume of oil shipped from the terminals is profitable oil of Azerbaijan, income from sale of which is accumulated in SOFAZ, and SOCAR’s oil.
Accoring to SOCAR, in June Brent oil was sold at the world markets at an average price of $48.34 per barrel, Urals - $47.15 per barrel and BTC FOB Ceyhan- $49.41 per barrel.—0—
