Faramazoglu Arrested for Extorting 3,000 AZN
The owner of a restaurant in the Khatai district of Baku applied to the Ministry of the Interior and reported about extortion on the part of the editor of the website www.jam.az Fikret Faramazoglu.
As stated in the press service of the Interior Ministry, the businessman claimed that the editor demanded 1,000 AZN from him in April for withdrawing a critical article about his restaurant from the website. Then he asked the restaurant owner to pay monthly 5,000 AZN for not publishing critical articles.
