Economy Ministry Reported Where It Spent Money for Investments
The Ministry of Economy published information on the use of state budget funds allocated to it for investment purposes in 2016.
The Ministry of Economy acted as the state customer on the distribution of 58.6 million manat. This year more than 53 million manat was used for other purposes, the ministry said.
The creation of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park (SCIP) was spent AZN 30 million. Another 2 million manat was spent on the construction of the SCIP Qualification Center.
The project of unified management of municipal solid waste was spent AZN 2.6 million of the AZN 3.6 million of the provided funds.
The Ministry of Economy reported on the allocation of AZN 6.5 million for the construction of a municipal waste incineration plant, of which more than 5.8 million manat was used. This plant was commissioned in December 2012.
The pavilion Milan Expo is built in Baku. The construction site and the project estimates are not reported. Last year, it was spent 12 million manat.
The funds for the creation of the Pirallahy Industrial Park are mainly not used. Of the AZN 4 million only about 10 thousand manat was spent.
In addition, in 2016 the Ministry of Economics used 17.5 million manat from the AZN 76 million frozen in previous years. It is noteworthy that AZN 5 million was registered for the creation of a metallurgical complex, although no effective steps were taken in addition to consulting by the Ministry of Economy in this direction.
In 2016, the Ministry of Economy spent an additional 2.7 million manat on works in SCIP, on the construction of the municipal waste incineration plant - 6.1 million manat, on the purchase of biometric passports - 2 million 270 thousand manat, and on the creation of an industrial park in Mingachevir - 2 million manat. -----08D
