Farmers to Receive Grants Totaling 82.3 Million AZN
The State Commission for Agricultural Subsidies under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Ilham Guliyev, on September 8 decided to provide subsidies to farmers. The subsidy amounted to 82 million 372.6 thousand manats.
The Commission noted that the subsidies will be received by 385,247 subjects for the used fuel and the production of wheat, rice, cotton and tobacco on 1,231,262.2 hectares.
According to the government's decision, since 2007 for the use of fuel and motor oil farmers receive a subsidy in the amount of 50 manats per 1 ha. Producers of wheat, rice, cotton and tobacco receive additional 40 manats per hectare.
The documents were submitted to the Ministry of Finance for the payment of subsidies to farmers by the regional branches of OJSC Capital Bank through payment cards. -----08D
