Finance Ministry Proposes Bonds for Three Months
The Ministry of Finance will hold a December 13 auction on placement of bonds amounting to 10 million manat. The maturity of the securities is 91 days.
The last time the Ministry of Finance offered investors three-month bonds on November 1st. Then the bonds with par value of 100 manat were placed at an average price of 95 AZN 66 gepiks or yield of 18.44% per annum.
The government considers T-bills as a tool to cover the budget deficit and reduce the AZN liquidity of banks. -----08D
